I thought it was kinda funny they said the police were worried he was going to hurt himself LOL...
I mean, why doesn't the guy just become a police officer? Then he could actually get paid for patrolling the streets and risking his life for people. Maybe he tried and couldn't make it? I dunno, but it seems to me like he's some little LARP kid that grew up and found a bunch of other nerds to be superheroes with and some really stupid reporter gave him some attention. He was probably in character the whole time.. You know how those lil gandalf nerds are. You try to talk to them like a normal person, and they're hardcore, man... You could hold a gun to their head and they'd be calling you a hobbit or something. Cosplay's cool and all, but when people go to the point of being THAT character and are no longer a normal person, that's when it weirds me out. If they were just normal, but in a costume, it wouldn't be so weird (hey, they're in a costume, it's not normal unless it's halloween or a convention)... Well, someone walking around the streets wearing a horribly done hero costume (that looks like an 8 year old made it) thinking they're a real superhero, that's just sad... And the woman calling herself in for drunk driving? Wow, just wow. |
